Fenugreek drink with Milk
Fenugreek seed has various health benefits.It helps to reduce the risk of diabetes,cholesterol and obesity.Fenugreek drink is a healthy drink to improve digestion, good for your skin, hair and for weight-loss.This drink can be used as a safe and natural method to increase breast milk in lactating mothers.It’s even good for back pain.Enjoy the drink hot or cold in the morning or evening!
- Serves — 1
- Cooking time -10 minutes
- Difficulty -Easy
Ingredients
- Fengreek seeds — 1–2tsp
- Jaggery syrup/ Organic jaggery powder- to taste
- Fresh Coconut Milk/ Milk — 1/2 Cup
Method
- Rinse the fenugreek seeds and soak in one cup water overnight
- Finely grind the seeds with one portion of soaked water in a mixer.
- Heat a pan or wok and add the grinded Fenugreek seed and water.You can use the soaked water itself
- Boil the mixture for a few minutes.Add jaggery syrup or organic jaggery powder.Mix well
- Remove the heat.
- Add coconut milk or boiled milk as you desire
- Drink hot or cold!!
Tips
Sieve the mixture before adding the milk if you desire.It’s better to have as it is.
